志玲（吴美衍 饰）思想传统，为了在三十岁前将自己嫁出去，主动向男友向景良求婚。然而景良生性风流，志玲最终忍无可忍，导致离婚收场。情感受创的她把重心转移到事业上。幸得到上司海翘（邓萃雯 饰帮助，渐渐打下一片天空。海翘是典型的女强人，不相信爱情，最看重亲情的她却与妹妹不和。齐宽（林峰 饰）当年是志玲补习的学生，自少年时期就一直暗恋志玲，如今恰逢志玲情伤，于是展开猛烈追求。然而齐宽的职位比志玲低，志玲的家人十分大男子主义，看不起未来女婿的地位。海翘与景良一夜情之后意外怀孕，决定生下孩子的她更加自立坚强，然而事业突遭变故，向来风流的景良却一直不离不弃，陪伴左右……
