化妆品公司代理总裁高卓文准备在新产品发布会上，宣布独子高峰接手家族生意。峰在会前向其女友兼代言人乐佩佩提出分手，佩其后竟穿上红旗袍，并在台上胡言乱语，更以林敏自称。峰发现佩在台上的说话，正是六十年代自杀女星林敏于遗作中的对白。峰好友警察钟智坚正调查一宗女子自杀案，死者死前亦曾自称林敏，峰却从肇事现场照片，发现疑点。峰与表妹周依彤翻看佩出事前录影带，认为峰的新助理司徒珊有可疑。又有一自称林敏的女子刘丽婵，跳海企图自杀，令案件更见诡异。峰调查珊身世，在其家中竟有惊人发现……
